I customized the registration form. I want to have new members not automatically approved, but to be sent an email saying they will be emailed their login and password once approved. When I try and test the registration process and submit register, I am taken to the Registration Complete screen with the login name already filled in and a blank password box. I do not receive an email to my test email address.
I changed my location of sendmail to /usr/lib/sendmail.
I have send registration confirmation email as yes.
I have Email Random Password as yes.
Am I missing something? Thank you!! |

Most probably your sendmail location is incorrect, or it is not working. Contact your hosting provider and find out the location of sendmail on your server.

Aytekin,
I'm with Netfirms.
Here is what is on my site support:
The path to Netfirms sendmail is:
/usr/lib/sendmail
That's what I changed it to in the Admin Panel, but no email.

I double checked my Admin Panel and on the Dashboard the Sendmail Locations and Default Sendmal Location are blank. Do I need to reinstall or is this a problem with Netfirms?
Under preferences all of the sendmail location was filled in during installation, so I'm not sure what is going on.....

You should use /usr/lib/sendmail on Admin -> Preferences -> Email.
